The GP Unique
It's difficult to find a more stylish hatchback than the GP Unique. It has big intakes, an arch extension and a two part rear wings. These are features typically reserved for French unicorns.
Thankfully, it doesn't only look mean. It also is incredibly responsive. The engine is smooth and powerful and its 332lb-ft torque is available with no hassle under 1,750rpm. It's also well-matched to the quick-shifting six-speed automatic transmission. Mini is very focused on lap times, so it's a shame that the GP Unique does not have manual transmission.
There are some flaws. For starters, the GP Unique's passive damping is firm but uninvolving. On a smooth and straight B road the chassis dynamic limits can be easily extended, but it's difficult to maintain fluidity when you apply your inputs. The front end can become a bit snatchy, and the car struggles to keep its course when it's under the pressure of irregular British bumps.
Fortunately, the GP Unique's handling is fantastic when you dial it in. Its powerful front end and body control are redolent of the JCW race car we tested last year. On a slick surface and when you're in determined mood, it's an absolute joy to drive.
The car's chassis also feels different from the regular MT-09, thanks to the fact it has much more torsional rigidity and bigger axles. The new GP has 24.7 degrees of rake and 108mm trail, which feels more pronounced on the front than the R6's - but it also translates into amazing stability in corners.
The PO Generator module is another great feature in GP. This lets you examine your inventory levels and min/max levels you've set for each item and any open POs from your suppliers (ie more inventory is on the way) and then generate an order list of suggested purchase orders that you can send off to your suppliers.
The GP 500
The GP 500 is Airoh’s lightest GP Helmet to date. It helps to reduce neck strain, fatigue and increase safety by reducing pressure on shoulders. The shell is designed to be aerodynamic and features a chin curtain spoiler to enhance aerodynamics and minimize wind buffeting. The GP500 also displayed some subtle rainbow colors while watching the Adam Project. They were easy to spot, but did not affect the viewing experience.
The sound quality is also impressive. The GP500 has an independent DSP chip that is integrated with treVolo psychoacoustic tuning that produces 3D audio effects. It uses an internal quad speaker layout positioned at the corners of the cabinet. It is designed to create an immersive sound field for everyone regardless of their seating position in the room.
There are various connectivity options with HDMI inputs 1 3, 2 and 3, and an optical Toslink SPDIF port that allows the transmission of native Dolby Atmos bitstreams to an external sound bar. The GP500 includes two Type-A USB 2.0 ports for streaming content, and it has a 12-volt trigger that can be used to create an electric screen.

The GP 900
Sceptics may point out that the GP appears to be naked XSR900, sported in a Wayne Rainey frock.
